The whole road in one app

Booking, the road, the books, merch and paying your people, in one place, in the words your act already uses. With Commander, an assistant that knows your whole year. Built by people who tour, for acts from gospel quartets to country bands.

Everything your act runs on

Every part is built and in use on the road today. Each date carries its deal, its schedule, its messages, its payments and its merch, so nobody has to ask where anything is.

Booking Live

  • Every date from first inquiry to settled, on a board, a calendar and a list. Holds numbered per date.
  • Flat fee, guarantee, door split, guarantee plus love offering, and more.
  • Agreements in your own wording, signed online by the buyer.
  • A booking request form for your website, and Deal Sheets that turn into dates.
  • Each date shows who booked it: someone on your team or your agency.

The Road Live

  • Advancing that emails the buyer the questions and reminds them until they're answered.
  • Each day's schedule with its calls: the stage call right before soundcheck, the bus call before the drive.
  • Flights, hotels, drives and rides, with who's riding together.
  • Guest lists, tour books, files and calendar feeds for everyone's phone.
  • Each person sees what's theirs, and a changed call reaches their phone.

Accounting Live

  • Deposits and balances paid online by card or bank, from a link you email the buyer.
  • Payouts to your bank, with same-day payouts when you need them.
  • Refunds and disputes kept straight with the payment they came from.
  • Merch, expenses and income on one set of books, and a profit and loss for the year.

Merch Live

  • A register on any phone that keeps selling with no signal and sends the sales when it's back.
  • Volunteers sign in at the table with a name and PIN, no account needed.
  • Stock by table and by size, re-stock orders, and guest gifts kept apart from what's for sale.
  • The night's closeout goes on the books, and sellers' commission goes to Payday.

Payday Live

  • Pay your band and crew from the date's own payment, same day or standard.
  • One button pays everyone who's owed, for every date at once.
  • Each person gets a private note on their phone with what they were paid and for which dates.
  • W-9s collected and 1099s ready at year end. We keep only the last four of a tax number.

Team and messages Live

  • Name your own roles, and add a new one right from a person's page. Turn access on or off person by person.
  • Hired players see the dates and their own pay, not the deals. Drivers see only the runs they drive.
  • Invite people by text or email. Nobody joins until they accept.
  • Team talk on each date, and email with buyers filed on the date. Replies come back to the app.
  • Sign in with Face ID or your fingerprint. Email sign-in always takes a second step.

Meet Commander. Call it TC.

An assistant that works inside TourCommand as you, so it sees only what you're allowed to see. Ask it anything about your year, or tell it what to do.

  • Ask in plain words. "What's still owed from October?" "Who's driving Friday?" Answers come with the dates they're from.
  • Have it do the work. It adds dates, holds and schedule items, and each change has an Undo.
  • Big steps wait for you. Anything that emails someone, sends a payment or changes your team shows up as a card, and nothing happens until you tap it.
  • Talk to it hands-free. Ask out loud from the bus and hear the answer back. A spoken yes never approves a big step.

Today, and the whole year

On a show day the app opens on that day. Over the year, the Playbook keeps the act, its managers and its agents looking at the same plan.

The Playbook

Your year in blocks: touring, recording, releases and time off, plus the days you usually work. Everyone on the act sees it, so a hold never lands on a week in the studio.

For agencies and management

Firms work every act on their roster from one place, and each act keeps its own account. An act sees everything about itself. A firm sees only what its agreement with the act allows.

Booking agencies

  • The whole roster's year on one grid: a row a day, a column an act.
  • "Who's free?" for a date and a distance.
  • Buyers and venues kept by the agency, a desk or one agent.
  • Commission statements, owed when the act is paid.
  • Two agencies on one act see each other's dates only as busy days.

Artist managers

  • An overview of each act: what's waiting, what's owed, what's next.
  • Holds, offers and agreements can wait for your OK before they go out.
  • The Playbook for each act, with clashes on top.
  • Management statements from the act's own books.

Business managers

  • The roster's books: owed, received, paid out and net, act by act.
  • A settlement sheet for each night, signed off and put on the books.
  • Pay and 1099s across the roster, with one worksheet to file from.
  • Tour budgets against what was actually spent.

BusCommand

For acts that run their own bus. What each tour and each date really costs to drive, worked out before you go.
